What does the logo mean?
The Matdo logo is built from the letters M and D, stacked vertically into a mark that's simple, modern, and quietly playful. The upper M reads as two small hands reaching out; the lower D opens into a pocket. Together they suggest a little assistant, always ready with whatever tool the moment calls for. Recognize the pocket? It's a nod to a certain blue robot cat — and to the same promise: reach in, and the right thing is already there.
Matdo means “everything.”
“Matdo” has an Eastern origin. It comes from Cantonese — 乜都, pronounced Mut Dou — the everyday word for everything, anything, all of it.
That's the idea behind our apps: quietly take care of all the routine everything — the sign-ins, the roll calls, the grading — so the people who teach can spend their time on what actually matters.
