Common questions
- How do I use a feature in Matdo Check?
- Every task — check in, add attendees, import or export a CSV, set a PIN — has a short how-to video on the Matdo Check page.
- Where is my attendance data stored?
- On your iPad. With Automatic Backup to iCloud on, which is the default, a daily backup and a spreadsheet for each month also go to your own Apple Account in iCloud. We do not receive, store, or have access to any of it. See the Privacy Policy for details.
- How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
- Apple handles all purchases. On your iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Matdo Check. Refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- I lost my iPad, or I am setting up a new one.
- Automatic Backup to iCloud is on by default and keeps a daily copy in your own Apple Account. On the new iPad, sign in to the same Apple Account and install Matdo Check; when it first opens, it offers to restore the latest backup. Each month's attendance is also in iCloud Drive, under Matdo Check, then Monthly Attendance. Purchases restore with Restore Purchases in the app, using the same Apple Account.
- I forgot the instructor PIN.
- On the PIN prompt, tap Forgot PIN?, choose a new PIN, and confirm with Face ID or the iPad's passcode — the code that unlocks the iPad, not the instructor PIN.
- Something is broken, or I have an idea.
- Email us. Tell us what you were doing and what happened — we read every message.
